This show is fantastic. The costumes, the songs, the dances, the actors — everything was fantastic! The leads were brilliant in their portrayal of Light and L, and the ensemble were also so fun to watch and enhanced the story.

This was a Relaxed Matinée — though I suspect it wasn't very different from an ordinary matinée apart from the introduction. It was a fun, gripping take on the show and had good performances — though one or two of the voices were not powerful enough to carry across the theatre.

Returned to the Barbican more than 20 years after my first visit. We sat in the middle level -sightlines and acoustics were fine. The dark and theatrical interpretation of the musical was entertaining, inventive and very much of the moment.
