Seven pantos in seventy minutes sounds impossible until you watch these two pull it off. Pure festive chaos and we loved every second.

My kids were shouting "he's behind you" before the first scene was over. The costume changes alone are worth the ticket, and the jokes land for adults just as much as for children.

I have not laughed this hard in a theatre for years. The double act has perfect timing, the dames are gloriously ridiculous and the audience is part of the show from start to finish. Cinderella racing to the Ball had the whole row in tears of laughter. It is short, sharp and silly in the best possible way. Our new Christmas tradition, without question.
Things to Know Before Booking Potted Panto Tickets

What Your Ticket Includes
Your ticket covers entry to the show in the seat you select at the Apollo Theatre — the full 70-minute performance of seven pantomimes in one. Food, drink and anything not listed as included are extra.

Age Recommendations
Recommended for ages 6 and above. Children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and seated next to them, and every child must be old enough to occupy their own seat with their own ticket.

Best Time to Attend
Daytime performances on weekdays tend to be the calmest. Evenings, weekends and the days around Christmas and New Year draw the biggest family crowds — ideal if you want the loudest, most enthusiastic shouting back.

Facilities
The Apollo has bars in the Stalls, Grand Circle and Balcony, and programmes and ice creams are sold in the auditorium. Food and drink bought elsewhere may not be brought into the theatre. Soho and Chinatown are a couple of minutes away for a pre-show meal.

Accessibility
Step-free access to the Stalls is provided by a platform stair lift, with wheelchair spaces and companion seats in the Stalls and a fully adapted unisex toilet on the same level. The auditorium has a Sennheiser assisted hearing system, and assistance dogs are welcome. Contact the theatre's access team before you book to reserve access seating.

How Long Do You Need at Potted Panto in London?

The performance itself runs about 1 hour and 10 minutes, with no interval. Allow around an hour and a half at the theatre in total so you have time to clear security, settle the children and find your seat without rushing.

Arriving 30 minutes before curtain-up is comfortable. Latecomers are held until a suitable break in the performance, and a break cannot be guaranteed — so if you are eating beforehand in Soho or Chinatown, book a table early and give yourself a clear half hour before the show.
